On the 1st April 2017 the new rates of pay concerning the National Minimum Wage and the National Living Wage will come into effect.

The new rates will be:

• £7.50 per hour for 25 years old or over
• £7.05 per hour for 21 to 24 years old
• £5.60 per hour for 18 to 20 years old
• £4.05 per hour for under 18 years old
• £3.50 for apprentices under 19, or 19 or over who are in the first year of an apprenticeship.

The rates will change every April.
